Imagine being told that you are no longer a citizen of your own country and that you are less than human. Such was the plight of children born of mixed marriages during Germany’s Third Reich. Now, author Cynthia Crane uncovers their struggles and triumphs in her book Divided Lives: The Untold Stories of Jewish-Christian Women in Nazi Germany.

Dr. Crane will discuss eight years spent writing the book and answer your questions. This event is sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston; the Anti-Defamation League; American Jewish Committee, and Friends of the New England Holocaust Memorial. Dessert, coffee and soft drinks will be served. To learn more about the book and Dr. Crane, go to www.dividedlives.com.
